How do I transfer my key to another account?

If you bought a Parallels Desktop copy that includes the Parallels Toolbox software as a bonus and want to install it on a new computer, follow these steps. To activate the virtual machine on a new computer, start it and enter a valid license key for this version of Parallels Desktop or an upgrade key for a previous version.

To change the email address of your Parallels account, go to your account dashboard. Click on Account & License and select the option to change your email address.

If you want to transfer a Business Edition license from one device to another, sign out from Parallels on the old Mac and then install and activate the product on a new Mac. To revoke a license from the current host, navigate to your Business Edition subscription in the dashboard and click on Registered computers. Select one or more devices in the list and click on Actions. Then, choose Activate on another Mac from the drop-down menu.

Where can I find my key?

Typically you can find the key registered in your account in the Dashboard, click on Active subscriptions and permanent licenses under Parallels Desktop for Mac. If you can’t source your key using the above method, please check if it is available in the License Keys box under Legacy licenses.

The Product Activation Key is used to activate your copy of Parallels Desktop. It is sent to you after you place your order in the Parallels online store or when you buy a boxed copy of the software. If you are unable to locate your key, please contact Parallels Support and provide the serial number of your hardware, as well as an invoice copy of the purchase.
